• Kirsten Rowe Hatcher, LMFT

    Kirsten is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She received her bachelors degree from the University of New Hampshire in 2005 in Interpersonal Communication. She then worked in a group home for adolescent boys before attending graduate school at Valdosta State University where she obtained a Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.

  • Sarah Cherry, LPC-I

    Sarah Cherry is a CACREP certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CMHC) and LPC-I. Originally from Florida, she has a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from a CACREP certified institution. Her experience includes working with broad spectrum mental disorders as well as a specialization in working with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and other trauma related disorders. Issues arising with PTSD include complicated grief and bereavement, substance use and abuse, and mood disorders. She is a VA Hospital trained clinician, having facilitated individual and group counseling for Veterans. She is also a trained Forensic Interviewer, having worked with victims of physical and sexual abuse.

    Sarah utilizes evidence-based treatment approaches as well as supportive counseling. Exposure therapies are explored in less traditional settings, in order to meet clients’ needs for combatting avoidance. She is also currently accepting new clients and client referrals. Self-pay only. Sarah will also consult with new or potential clients free via e-mail and phone call.

    Michael Becker, LPC-I

    Michael is a LPC-I who received his Masters degree from The Citadel (CACREP Certified) in Counselor Education. He has experience in both acute inpatient settings and outpatient settings working with a variety of mood disorders and alcohol/drug related issues. Michael is also a Certified Addictions Counselor-In Process, and enjoys helping people through cognitive-behavioral therapeutic approaches to assist in identifying life stressors, “triggers,” and negative/self defeating thought patterns that result in undesired thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and decisions. Michael treats mood disorders including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorders, and alcohol and drug related disorders for clients aged 18 and up. Michael strives to create a strong therapeutic relationship with his clients that is built upon trust, empathy, and positive support. He wants to help assist his clients in improving their lives and wants them to enjoy the therapy process.
